Even at the high school I was attracted by the watercolour. I had an art teacher who was extraordinary and he has probably transferred that passion on to me. Well later (I was already mother of 3 boys), during a holiday in France I took part in a training of watercolours (Pierre Guide) and I have no longer pulled out since then!

For three years I followed lessons at Michel Bocart (Braine L'Alleud) with some incursions at other known water-colour painters (X.Swolfs, Cao Bei An, F.De Mulder….).

In 1992, I registered at Roland Palmaerts and I discovered watercolours in a total different way. By its agility, its incomparable expertise, its thorough knowledge of the colours he succeeded in developing me. He pushes its students increasingly further, always higher! Dare to exaggerate! (in ambiguous meaning!). Thanks also for the added philosophy, which helped us (at me certainly) in daily life. Selected by several juries, I became member of European Academy of Arts (2006) and of European Artistic of Merit (2007). I obtained, with the greatest distinction, the diploma of Formation of Masters 2007, organized by Roland Palmaerts, international artist.

My anticipated retirement (since January 2005), of nurse instrumentalist in the operation department, very nerve-racking profession, but so exciting, has given me more time to deliver me to my passion. I help already my granddaughter (5 years) with painting watercolours! Perhaps can I pass on, in a not too distant future, my knowledge and my passion to others?
